PURE RACISM’: SIGNS DEPICTING OBAMA AS CRYING BABY IN DIAPER, PUPPET DRAW PROTEST IN NEW ORLEANS

New Orleans residents protested in front of a local man’s house Wednesday after he put up several signs in his yard depicting President Barack Obama as a puppet and a crying baby in a diaper, with one city council member even trying to determine whether the signs can forcibly removed.

In one sign, under the words “It’s Not My Fault,“ Obama wears a diaper and has speech bubbles coming from his mouth that read ”change me“ and ”I stink.” Another depicts him as billionaire George Soros’ puppet, standing behind a podium that reads “Seal of the Teleprompter of the United States.”

City Council Member Susan Guidry told New Orleans’ WWL-TV she’s concerned about public safety and is trying to figure out if the signs are even legal.

“We have to determine that there is a zoning law that prohibits perhaps the size of the sign, perhaps the way that it’s erected, that it is leaning over onto public property,” Guidry said. “Whatever we can use, we will, but of course, we do have to balance that with First Amendment rights.”

ANTI-OBAMA SIGN IN UPTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD DRAWS CONTROVERSY

WWL-TV spoke to several locals about the signs:

“It disrespects the nation — and President Barack Obama represents our nation,” said Skip Alexander, as he looked at one of the signs. “He represents everybody, not some people.”

Dozens of protesters came by the house in the 1500 block of Calhoun throughout the day, demanding the sign come down.

“He wouldn’t do that to [President] Bush, I’m sure. It’s just insulting. It’s insulting,” said C.C. Campbell-Rock. “He’s going to have to take them down.”

“This is nothing put pure racism,” said Raymond Rock. “This is a disgrace.”

According to WWL-TV, the home is owned by Timothy Reily, who declined to speak to the station. Neighbors said he’s been putting up signs for months, but only received attention after a local radio station talked about them on the air Wednesday morning.

“He can put up a sign if he wants to. It doesn’t bother me,” said Harold Gagnet, a neighbor.

“I think it’s fine. It’s on his property,” said Katherine deMontluzin. “He can say whatever he wants.”

The station reported former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin showed up at the house during the protest and went inside to speak with Reily. He emerged later and would not comment on what was discussed.

As far as I am concerned Obama doesn't support the country that I live in, he is trying to tear it apart. Some of The people in this guys neighbor hood are either ignorant or are being willingly ignorant. There is no way that they can sit there and tell me that Obama has done a good job of running this country, no way. With are debt, 14 trillion or so, unemployment around 9 %, and showing our weakness when it comes to other countries. Other countries are laughing at us as America continues to decline as a super power. Obama is doing everything he can to turn this country into a Socialist country and kicking capitalism to the curb. We have faggotism, atheistism, muslims growing in our country and our government is sitting back and saying that it alright, they have a right to their beliefs and the rest of the people in this country can go to hell.

 God  has taken His hand off the country because we have become so perverted in our way of life, I must say though, that not everybody thinks as Obama and his crooked administration does. Obama is indeed an antichrist, he is anti american, he is anti business, he is anti Christian, I don't care what he says in public. Now, I didn't say that he is the antichrist, just saying he's antichrist. I have never seen such a corrupt government as we have right now. Obama wants to force us into his healthcare plan, he wants to totally depend on the government for all our needs, he wants the government to control everything that we do, everything that we say, and everywhere we go.

 Obama is an idiot, but he is also smart, he has we the people at odds with one another, he keeps our minds preoccupied on one thing like the economy while he is doing another thing and before you know it he has passed the healthcare bill, he is very smart and shrewed. In case you haven't noticed, I am anti obama. I can't stand to sit here and watch him tear our country apart. This once great nation, a nation to be feared and he has broken us like a twig. If we don't get out a vote Obama and his administration out of office were going to wake up to a new country called, "The Brother hood of Muslims". So, I am going to vote and I encourage everyone to vote. We can beat Obama, we can kick the liberals to the curb.
